I spent a good deal of time writing up a post on author branding over on my personal blog this week, so if you’re wondering, “What the Heck is Author Branding and How Do You Do It Anyway?” please check that article out.
If you have any questions or comments on branding, feel free to ask me here or leave a comment on that post.
Since I’m not the definitive source on all things marketing, I’d like to point you to some other people’s articles and books on branding (as it applies to authors) as well. It’s interesting how many different ideas people have about what strategies you should partake in to “brand yourself as an author.”

I have a read on Branding and How to do it. There is a lot of good information in it and I must thank you for sharing this information.
Thank you for sharing the links to the articles. I definitely agree that authors must establish their brands in order to be more successful in the field of publishing.
The articles are very informative and I agree on the value of author branding. Many successful authors are actually known by their names and not merely by books. And in the same way, many books are becoming popular when associated with a famous name.
